New Chief Operating Officer
Nobody's mentioned this...
Saints' official twitter says
'The club welcomes Carl Dilena' as the new Chief Operating Officer.
He was CEO or something at Norf.
Not sure why we got this fella, not sure what the role entails

Re: New Chief Operating Officer
It's not a football department role

Dilena, whose portfolio will cover the strategy, finance, legal, and facilities and venue operations departments, said he was looking forward to contributing to the club’s future.
With the next stages of development at both RSEA Park and the Danny Frawley Centre nearing completion, Carl will play an integral part in maintaining and executing the continual integration of those facilities.

Re: New Chief Operating Officer
Ex Fitzroy footballer. He was a good footballer.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
Re: New Chief Operating Officer
Was Drafted from Sturt (SANFL) at a very high pick (in the first 5?)
Played a couple of outstanding games among the few played with Fitzroy and then the few played with North Melbourne
Has the administrative background to succeed in continuing the financial recovery trajectory of the Club

Re: New Chief Operating Officer
North became debt-free under his watch. He'll just fly under the radar and hopefully turn our financial fortunes in the same direction. Very sound recruitment.
