Hill didn’t like the physical pressure applied from over a metre away …crumbledSainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sat 24 Sep 2022 3:19pm Congratulations to Hugo Ralph Smith

Re: 2022 AFL Sprint
Hugo has always been a very decent runner, not elite but very good.
Did years of Aths and ran in lots of state gold medal winning relay teams with Miles Bergman at Sandringham.

Re: 2022 AFL Sprint
Peris should be rebuilding his engine, not risking hamstrings in a casual sprint race.

Re: 2022 AFL Sprint
From memory the main reason most players take part in the sprint is to get a couple of extra tickets to the game for friends or family. I think it used to be the rule that all afl listed players get a ticket to the grand final but if you take part in something like the sprint, or the retiring players, you get a couple more. At least that is what I was told by a players father a few years back. So it’s not like some peak athletic competition

Probably because no one cares, it’s merely a bit of fun.Viscount Jeremiah wrote: ↑Sun 25 Sep 2022 12:04pm The question has to be asked why Peris wasn't our rep.
It has had no significance since 2009
