2009 GF Joel Selwood
Just rewatching this game today while I wait for the Prelim
A young Joel Selwood playing in a style that reminded me of our young Windhager.
So straight ahead, direct and strong on the footy and strong willed.
I reckon we have an absolute ripper there.

All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

I know...just the first 3 quarters
Good to see a StKilda team with 10 A graders in it
Would destroy any team of the last few years

I watched it last year or maybe…2 years ago. One of the things that sticks out was an incident early in the game when Roo flies for a mark and comes down hard on his back early in the game. I think he was winded and took a while to recover.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Sat 17 Sep 2022 6:52pmI know...just the first 3 quarters

The other thing that stood out was how many times we bombed the footy into the forward 50 instead of trying to hit up a lead.
Oh…and seeing Luke Ball sitting on the bench in the last quarter

Swans early lead up well before losing Reid
