Where to now for Billings?
This guy has me beat. Apparently he played as many as 8 games this year. Can’t recall him playing a decent game out of those 8 appearances.
Still no sign of improving. Why was he given a 4 year extension after 2021? That made absolutely no sense.
To think we could have drafted the great Bontempelli instead of this guy. Now he has virtually no trade value.
At 27 years of age, it looks like he’ll be fading into obscurity for another 3 years on our list. Pathetic!

Re: Where to now for Billings?
Well… his trade currency is gone.
Was very foolish playing him when he was lacking match fitness.
No good came out of it for him and us.
All we can hope is that he recovers from his latest ailment, burns up the track over summer and comes back in the best shape (or close to it) of his career.

Good solid player who reads the game well and has good disposal. He's on par with so many in his type of role, so his form will determine how selection from now on.
His last three seasons have been injury riddled

Half forward.
He can be our Jamie Elliott type.
Far more class than Butler and Higgins.

We are all delusional , we're Saints supporters after all but the last two posts go beyond delusion. Billings as an Elliott type when he can't kick a clutch goal, good disposal - how this myth continues Despite all evidence to the contrary ? Well we delude ourselves
the invisible and the non existent look very much alike

He drives me crazy.
Marks 50m in the clear.
Every single time he goes back and waits for a player to take the mark.
Rarely plays on. Never moves the ball quickly.

Playing without confidence.
Has zero currency and is at the cross roads.
Has talent. Is there desire?
Could be used better. But needs belief in himself and a want to win.
At the moment is looking like a bust.

Re: Where to now for Billings?
He is one of the most frustrating players I can remember. Possesses a heap of talent, but simply hasn’t delivered anywhere near his potential.
But maybe this is due to St.Kilda not being good enough at developing players? Effed if I know!

Re: Where to now for Billings?
He needs to ask Jack Sinclair about the weights program that helped Sincs get Stewy Loewe type thighs
If he doesn’t want Stewy Loewe thighs he needs to get on the Paddy McCartin diet that makes you turn into a psychopath
Did you see how angry Paddy got when Max elbowed his brother Tom in the jaw?
By the way…can you imagine how busy the guy is on the Swans forum who is their very own CURLY. He’ll be questioning why the umpires always crucify them and why Max King wasn’t cited for the stray elbow
