I'm fortunate I'll be getting free seats to the 2024 Grand Final anyway so hopefully it's Suns V Saints but that may depend on how well Hanners is playing I suppose.Scollop wrote: ↑Wed 17 Aug 2022 12:39pmDid he say anything about losing his love of the AFL?Vortex wrote: ↑Wed 17 Aug 2022 12:30pmThat's madness skeptic. Taking it too seriously when you allow small things like that impact you so much you are willing to cut one of your favourite sports and pass times.skeptic wrote: ↑Wed 17 Aug 2022 10:45am If we extend Hannebery’s contract by a year after his return of 4 quarters across 2 games in 2022… even with a solid last game, that might be it for me.
How ppl have convinced themselves that after what… 15 odd games in 5 years and being pretty much unavailable for the entirety of the year despite heading into the preseason fit… that somehow magically a 6th is the ticket is mind boggling to me.
It is in my opinion sheer madness
He’s probably gunna don the shash ( just kidding) …or what about following a power club like the M&M aqua’s …
…or maybe just get an AFL membership with an affiliation to the Suns. That way he’ll get tickets to the 2024 Grand Final

You’re living on planet that is not the same as the one that we have come to recognise as Earth.
Perhaps there is a mirroring of life on earth with all the same identical life beings but this planet is in a different universe

So we might actually have half a dozen flags or more in a parallel universe? Sick!
Not "Simon Templar". He was here first. Please change my username to Bumstead and if possible make me one of those very large sandwiches, thanks!

Re: Changes round 23
In the parallel universe Cowboy Neale caught up with Bob Keddie at the start of the last quarter and delivered a hard-but-fair bump that disabled Keddie , and we now have 13 flags .

Not on my staple diet but definitely part of my mental health plan. What's your secret?Scollop wrote: ↑Wed 17 Aug 2022 5:52pm You’re living on planet that is not the same as the one that we have come to recognise as Earth.

Sad to say, I spent a good 5 minutes thinking about this, and felt better.

Josh Kennedy at the Swans doesn’t get a farewell game but Dean Kent does?

Kent playing is everything that is wrong with this club
So Bytel can’t get a game this season
Nor can Connolly but we can fit Kent in alongside Butler and Higgins for 2
Strive for mediocrity.

What are you talking about? Bytel is young. He’ll get a chance next year

I hope in no way shape or form said angst is coming across as being directed towards you…
But Kent has been mediocre at Sandy all year and did SFA on the weekend beyond his classic bobbing up to kick junk goals late.
Hasn’t earned a game on form
Doesn’t deserve a farewell
One of two of the most mediocre players currently on an AFL list (with the other also at our club).
Sends a real message IMO how the club is thinking and it ain’t good
