So what happens Sunday?
Do we show up and have a crack, or do we end the season with a whimper?
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

We smash Sydney - because .... it matters to no-one but it is good for marketing

We will exit the season with a whimper and left wondering why we signed the coach for an extra 2

Re: So what happens Sunday?
Whatever they do it’ll be in front of more Sydney supporters than St Kilda supporters.
It’ll be like a One-Dayer at the MCG between Sri Lanka & Australia.
St Kilda currently does not deserve the support at the game and fans will confirm that by voting with their feet on Sunday.

The club is nearly rooted and the machetes and butchers knifes will be out in a few years when we are wallowing like North currently are.
I don’t think people in this day and age will be as loyal as the past. More and more will opt out and lose interest.

Re: So what happens Sunday?
We make it to the final siren, lament another loss and then say, thank F*** that's it until next season.
Then before you know it we are paying for next year's membership.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Sydney win in a canter. But I hope Max kicks a few.
Also hope Ratts goes offscript and gives an honest review. But I know he won't.

Re: So what happens Sunday?
No doubt all those who incessantly bagged Hickey and McCartin on this site will attend Sunday
And eat their words
Noting they continue to bag the Club and the players as they do

IMO as supporters we have a right to question the decisions of the club & the performance of the players .

Re: So what happens Sunday?
A Sydney win will get them top 2 finish , possible home prelim final .
So there's no effing way there gunna drop this match to a bunch of chumps like the Saints .
Plus our players know they've got no chance of finals , so they'll be playing bruise-free footy , after all no one will want to be heading off on holiday carry some niggling injury or possibly broken something they picked up going in hard during the last game.
The swans will look to dominate early , establishing a good break enabling them to cruise through the second half , margin could be 4 goals or 14 !

Saints show up
Pressure pressure pressure
King gets off chain kicks 6
Ratts gets angry at presser cause “everyone is being mean and pessimistic over the second half of the season with no justification…”

Re: So what happens Sunday?
I'll be there, may have bagged Hickey for some of his games but bagged Longer more. What happened when Hickey left St Kilda? I suggest Meth Coast supporters may be more peeved than us.
Paddy, meh. Unless he lines up as a key forward for Sydney and dominates then nothing changes my opinion we picked the wrong player. Just an example of a time our Club / Recruiters got too smart by half.
Good luck to both, I dare say neither were going anywhere as Saints. Is that the players' faults, the Club's fault or the very disappointed supporters' fault?

Petracca reportedly accepted $300k less on his contract out of loyalty to Melbourne.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Tue 16 Aug 2022 12:05amI'll be there, may have bagged Hickey for some of his games but bagged Longer more. Either our geniuses totally misread his personality or by publicising his perceived flaws they changed his personality.
Either way, as said above, we are s***.

Re: So what happens Sunday?
Start well then fizzle out- typical Saints over the last 10 years or so. A couple of promising wins here and there followed by rubbish losses in games we were expected to win. It is getting really hard to follow this club, and for some I know, they have totally lost interest and their kids are more interested in other clubs. I really don't give a stuff about Sunday's game and hope that we have a total rebuild and get another coach when the season is finished.- but it won't happen.
