Crouch outcome
I think it will be graded
Careless
Low impact (did not leave ground to be assessed)
High
According to AFL matrix that is a fine

Re: Crouch outcome
No way he doesn’t get weeks
Certainly will get one as Gardiner kept playing
I think one is a good outcome
Knowing the AFL, he cops 2

Re: Crouch outcome
Does the club know a good QC to use during the Tribunal process ?
Could they afford one ?
Could they afford one ?
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Crouch outcome
Please refer to the AFL matrix
To be two weeks it needs to be either
Intentional, high and medium impact
Or
Careless, high and high impact
Did Gardiner even leave the ground, the impact must be graded as low

That’s not how Daisy saw it last night.

1 match
Crouch has been offered a one-match ban, with the Match Review Officer deeming the incident careless, high contact and medium impact.

Absolutely disgraceful, how can it possibly be medium impact
Gardiner did not even have a concussion test, played 95% of the game
Club must appeal as it just shows the club, screw you , you are only St Kilda

While I agree, it's not worth the time and money for the appealterry smith rules wrote: Absolutely disgraceful, how can it possibly be medium impact

Re: Crouch outcome
Yes it f@rking is - I don't care about the outcome of this appeal - but I care about us becoming RELEVANT - and someone needs to challenge the Cripps decision - and the AFL can't AFFORD to.therabbitinthehat wrote: ↑Sat 13 Aug 2022 8:27pmWhile I agree, it's not worth the time and money for the appealterry smith rules wrote: Absolutely disgraceful, how can it possibly be medium impact

Re: Crouch outcome
Based on our past experience with appeals he'd end up with the same result with it costing us thousands. We either need better lawyers or a war chest for the bribesSainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sat 13 Aug 2022 8:30pm Yes it f@rking is - I don't care about the outcome of this appeal - but I care about us becoming RELEVANT - and someone needs to challenge the Cripps decision - and the AFL can't AFFORD to.

Re: Crouch outcome
I can’t imagine that too many SS posters would be happy with a fine if it had been Gardiner who has made the hit on Crouch.
Sure, the appeal decision re Cripps was outrageous, but that’s a separate matter. And trying to use that as a precedent will simply piss off the AFL for a minimal practical benefit, given that we don’t desperately need to beat the Swans for any particular reason.
