Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
Jagshemash! In U,S and A they say when team make more win than loss after hard fighting season, it is called winning season. Yes?
Mighty Saints now have 11 win and 9 losers. May I ask why Saint fan so unhappy? Before year start, many journeyman say St Kilda have no chance of winning many game of football but we now have more win than loser. Or is maybe better for Saints team to finish at bottom of table? I find much confusion. In Kazakhstan, my team FC Kairat in home town Almaty have year much like mighty Saints but we not feel sad at all. We still like to sing and laugh and have much good drinking and have sexytime with my wife and mistress. I like, Is nice!

Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
I was thinking exactly the same thing yesterday
No….I’m not talking about whether the Saints have had a successful year or not… I was thinking about this; “…laugh and have much good drinking and have sexytime with my wife and mistress. I like”
Anyhow…Here are some threads before the season started. You will notice that there appears to be a correlation between the people conspicuously absent from these threads below ….who now have become the loudest crop of highly vociferous posters with their current condemnation of the club and the coach. Very Interesting.

Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
Your wife, not so much!
Seriously though, I had us finishing with 12 wins before the season with a fairly tough draw.
I think we will still get there with a hard fought win against Brisbane this week, but fall at the final hurdle in the final game of the home home and away season against Sydney.
Remember Sydney have rained on our parade several teams in the final game of past seasons (2005, 2007, etc).
So for me 12 wins is a bare pass.
It's just that many thought a finals berth was inevitable at 8-3 and 4th place mid season.

Yes, is true. I really hate these Swans. Swan is national bird of Uzbekistan. I really hate…how you say? Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
Borat, a "winning season" without finals is like a wizard's sleeve. It's not exactly what we're after, but at least it's something.
Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"
Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
When we defeated Geelong earlier in the season, Ryder kicked 3, Gresham had it 30 times and both Billings and McKenzie had it over 20 times

Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
Borat,
We finished 10th last year.
Max King grew a moustache in your honour, and it looks like we will finish 10th again. The curve is flat, which leaves us feeling as flat as the land of Kazachstan. You feel me. High five? No! Hang ten. You are a surfer dude, so you know.

This is yet another failed season where we made no real progress- adding to the large number of similar seasons since 2010

Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
Sorry for the miss leading reply I actually meant last week not the first time we played them. I have no idea if any of them played in the first game, I was merely pointing out that they had more quality out in more recent game than we did .freely wrote: ↑Wed 10 Aug 2022 9:15amer - but they didn't play last week either, did they?bangaulegend wrote: ↑Tue 09 Aug 2022 11:06pmYeah but they didn't have Selwood, Dangerfield , Blicavs & Rohan so IMO that means SFA

Re: Winning season - GREAT SUCCESS ?
Before the season started,
I posted that we'd finish about the same as 2021...
I said that we'd improve a bit, but every other club will improve more than us.
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.
