Re: Votes v Geelong
Steele only got 23 possies.
Sincs similar.
Cats were able to quell those 2, Crouch still got over 30, mostly handpasses, and scored 137 AF points, weirdly

Re: Votes v Geelong
Every week is basically the same story with Crouch. Crouch is a turnover merchant who is our best and most prolific tacklerWellardSaint wrote: ↑Sun 07 Aug 2022 2:01am Steele only got 23 possies.

He is a tireless worker but he doesn't hurt the opposition and he doesn't set up enough.
He had minimal impact against Geelong with only 1 score involvement. Bradley Hill had the same amount of clearances as Brad Crouch.

Have you got some sort of bot that posts instant replies whenever I criticise Crouch?

People don't rate Sharman's game for at least a vote?
5. Marshall
4. Crouch
3. Steele
2. Sharman
0.5 Owens/Windhager (learning the game running with and shutting down some handy players)

Geelong were dominant in the first quarter. I thought we were going down by a record margin, but our 2nd quarter was not only really productive on the scoreboard we actually played some nice footy. We had flair and we had the confidence to hit our targets. Probably a bit of them easing the accelerator and us playing a more aggressive game to try and get back into it.
The problem is that when Geelong turned up the pressure in that 3rd quarter, we crumbled and made errors. Too many players fumbling, too many poor decisions and poor disposal and too many dropped marks.
Would have given Hill more if he didn’t turn it over as much. Same with Sincs. If our two supposed best kicks were struggling to hit targets, what hope were we?
I thought Sharman and Dougs did ok and fought on all day, but I didn’t want people to hate me so I gave my last vote to Brad
