Ratts doesn't set the questions.
Most seemed to be about how good Geelong is. How do you work with that sort of rubbish.
Reading between the lines though, did you pick up that Stewart might be tagged by Sharman?

Speaks in circles makes poor jokes

Most of that PC was about how good Geelong are

We shouldn’t bother turning up?!

So, for those that bothered, was Ratten's presser worth watching or was it more mindless waffle.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Yeah nah we’ll have to be switched on
The boys know their destiny is in their hands and are ready for the challenge
We respect Geelong but certainly feel our best is good enough (when we show up)
This is why you play AFL footy to play the best and test yourself against the best....yawn

Haven’t watched it but reckon rinse repeat above each week
What he really means is

Yeah...ah....haven’t fixed that shyte forward line structure yet but hopefully some of those bombs work out and our boys sneak out the back for easy goals
If that doesn’t happen got me faked what I’ll do next
But yes, I will swing Membrey back late and....I don’t want to give too much away but I have a little surprise this week....
I don’t want to say too much.......but suffice to say.......Cooper .....tag......Stewart...
I’ll leave you to join the dots.....
Love ewes all....bring it in...group cuddles....

Im curious, you aren't that bloke at the bottom of the steps at Flinders Street Station standing on a timber fruit box yelling random stuff about the end of the world? I actually don't think he's nuts, I think it's possible that a ball of fire sent by Satun will crash into planet earth one day sending us to hell for eternity.

Wayne it was the elite AFL journo pack asking penetrating questions that unfortunately couldn't be heard, but you could infer from the answers, eg do you think Howard will be able to hold Hawkins; ans- well the board has every right to ask for more info; how can you combat the combination of Blicavs and Stanley; ans- well it's a blow that Billings has stuffed his back and Jones won't kick so we dropped him but Rowan is in top form, Steele and Crouch are no slouches.
Or they could have been asking for a lift down M1.
As I say 50% of the exchange was inaudible and Ratts expression wavered between WTF are U serious to trying to contain laughter. For fun one could make up pretend questions like I have.

I finally worked out what that breathing thing is before games …
Rats has bottled his farts and it’s the last gasp of his BS players can get before the bounce

If I was a player I would be slightly embarrassed it obviously doesn't work . I don't see the more successful clubs doing it , maybe we should concentrate on playing 4 quarter of footy instead of wasting our energy on stupid breathing exercises

I got to be honest, I didn't see us making finals this year, I had us around 10 wins and being 9th to 12th. Do you think if they get rid of the breathing thing we can get more wins next year.

Maybe they could switch to nitrous; wasn't Grant Thomas getting a dentist on board?

Not "Simon Templar". He was here first. Please change my username to Bumstead and if possible make me one of those very large sandwiches, thanks!

I had us finishing about the same as you & as I said the breathing thing IMO hasn't made us any better & won't next year

Yes but only if they start inhaling the stuff you’re smoking…
