In Memory of Spud

THE GOLDEN FIST

Cooper "the" Sharman...BANG!!! Left his man numerous times to impact the contest and support his mate. He's got a future!

ME ME ME Meeee...

Max "Me" King

Turned the game with his actions in the last quarter, the wrong way. Quite pathetuc and quite selfish. Ben Long gave him the heads up earlier but he chose to ignore some very constructive criticism.

I just saw your post and this thread. It’s exactly what I thought as well when Cooper spoiled a few incoming balls yesterday

Well done to Cooper and hopefully he gets nominated for THE GOLDEN FIST. Bang!!!

Last few weeks just confirms that he has a natural ability to read the flight of the ball and to get to the right spots. You can’t train that. Second efforts and 1 percenters were vg too.

Question: How much more improvement does he have in him and is he the type of player that will take the team to the next level?

Answer: I don’t know.

Sharman's only 22 and played just 13 games so there's a hell of a lot of improvement in him.

I really like that he has grabbed the challenge to playing in defence with both hands (and fists), he has a fantastic natural leap and is a bloody strong mark.

And people on this forum rubbish Ratten for not trying something different

Was impressed with Sharman. Have sat on the fence about him so far but he did a couple of good things linking up our runners and stopping the opposition marking by punching the ball. He displays a certain calmness under pressure.

Speaking of Spud. We won the toss and kicked to the “Frawley” end. Is there actually a sign or do you just have to remember?

And what’s the other end?

The signs are behind the new big (read wide and not that big) screens. The north end is the Lockett end but I thought the south end was the Coventry end.
