2023 - YOT Rabbit
Is it too early to canvas where our improvement might come from in 2023?
Draft picks nominally 9, 27, 45, 63, 81?
Natural improvement in Max, Mitchito, Marcus, Nakia?
Development of Heath?
Ratts coaching, new assistants?
Full season from Dmac
Clark, Billings, Paton fully fit/uninterrupted season
Sharman continued gradual improvement
Jack Hayes and Coffield
Better use of B. Hill
Salary space use as Dan H finishes up
No Cairns match
New Director of Football
Or does it all add up to continuing to tread water, because there will be unforeseen set backs.
I think we will be good to watch though especially if Clark, Hayes and Coffield play full seasons.
Perhaps it is too early to be speaking of 2023 as we have yet to play Hawthorn this arvo and we are a chance against Geelong, Lions and Sydney. Are we not, even without improvement.
We are aren't we?

Re: 2023 - YOT Rabbit
Thanks, I might be old and a bit thick, but if the players keep standing with their mouths open when Hill starts breaking lines he'll just do what he has now resorted to by just passing the ball off to someone else instead, so he doesn't waste his possession completely. That's one of the things that is sending me to an early grave, along with wasting King without workable strategies of feeding the ball to him and the other forwards.

He was probably half way through his slab when he typed that doozy.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Unless Dan has another major injury before the season finishes, he will still be on the playing list next season. Though most likely on a much modified deal.
Cats would grab him in heart beat if his body holds up.

The Cats seem capable of that, they are also grabbing De Goey, half of GWS and keeping their entire list. Incredible balance sheet in Geelong, a little like the highway to that hell hole.saintsRrising wrote: ↑Sun 31 Jul 2022 2:00amUnless Dan has another major injury before the season finishes, he will still be on the playing list next season. Yes, yes and yes...
Seeing Hill's embarrassing disposals last week..urrgghhh...some of them looked like one metre kicks or handballs...terrible
But tonight I saw him contribute to three goals...bursting through with a short handball being one of them..
But I also saw him alone in F50..and not even bothering to motion to Membrey to pass. Membrey was about 70 out, on the flank..and he stalled. Members infuriates me like this..like Ross and once upon a time Kent...
But crucially, Hill didn't bother to call for the ball.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
