When you watch a midfield getting pummelled like ours did against Freo and Dogs you make changes
No good having a gun at HB if the ball is never going your way out of the center- you’ll be overwhelmed eventually
Sinclair was excellent in the guts against a rampant Pies
He’s exactly the type of ball user into 50 you want streaming out of centre
I’m sure NWM or a DMAC with NWM left on a wing could play the HB role …but alas ….Brett’s only master stroke is tovv be swing Membrey back late in quarters leaving King outnumbered
Coach is defensive, stuck in his ways and has the beige imagination of sandpaper

Re: Serious Questions
Never seen him react during a quarter
It’s like they wait until HT to reassess?

Re: Serious Questions
And he's overflowing with choice as far as depth on the list is concerned so it's not as though he hasn't got great flexibility in players to use for positional changes.Teflon wrote: ↑Sat 30 Jul 2022 1:31am When you watch a midfield getting pummelled like ours did against Freo and Dogs you make changes

Re: Serious Questions
Dunno- I've been pretty close or stood beside all those guys in the past during their playing days and they look a lot bulkier and bigger in the upper body than Hunter. Steve J is like a bigger version of Higgins.
