Does Windy get a RS nomination
He must be a chance, brilliant performance I thought

He, NWM and Owens should be picked every week (if fit) at this point

Be as good as any game a first year player has played this season.

His kicking might be an issue but he's put himself in the potential category for the next year or two.

Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
Gee, I reckon even most Saints supporters would nominate Ugle-Hagen if it was up to them. He was amazing.
Bad luck for Windhager, but his time will come.

Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
Think it will go to Jamarra, but Windhager is quite a prospect. That burst out of the middle for our goal near half time was something to get excited about. Leave him in the starting clearance midfield. He’s already big and strong enough.

Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
Windhager with 530 meters gained 24 touches and keeping Kelly to 4 is as good a game as Jamarra.

Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
Probably it is, but five goals including three in the last quarter of a close game and the match-winner with not long to go will be hard to overlook. Plus the fact that Ugle-Hagen is a No.1 National Draft pick. I’d be surprised if he he doesn’t get it.
The way Windhager is tracking he will get his nomination against Hawthorn.

Yep I have. What Windhager did defensively was elite.

Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
I remember years ago we had a guy who kicked 4 goals got 8 coaches' votes and 1 Brownlow vote but was passed over for some guy who got 15 disposals chipping it around the backline.bigcarl wrote: ↑Mon 25 Jul 2022 12:22pmProbably it is, but five goals including three in the last quarter of a close game and the match-winner with not long to go will be hard to overlook. Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
I remember a guy who kicked 10.7 on the supposed full back of last century … including the match winner with 43 second left on the clock. He got one Brownlow vote and a serviceable midfielder who did nothing special got the 3 votes.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Mon 25 Jul 2022 3:21pmI remember years ago we had a guy who kicked 4 goals got 8 coaches' votes and 1 Brownlow vote but was passed over for some guy who got 15 disposals chipping it around the backline.bigcarl wrote: ↑Mon 25 Jul 2022 12:22pmProbably it is, but five goals including three in the last quarter of a close game and the match-winner with not long to go will be hard to overlook. Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
Some on twitter are saying Kelly got 2 kicks+2 handballs
And the 2 kicks, one was a free n the other was a kick off the ground.
Amazing.

Re: Does Windy get a RS nomination
Has any club received fewer RS nominations than us over the past decade or so?
What does that say about the quality of our recruiting over most of that period?
Nothing, of course. It’s all the coach’s fault apparently.

How many players have received a nomination than never played a decent game again.
