Our 3 best players (along with Steele). And the common denominator?

All rookies

If we took them all as first round draft picks

We’d be very happy with them

All were overlooked in their draft year! Not drafted late or rookied. Overlooked completely.

Same with Jarryn Geary. Nothing came easy. Had to work his butt off to carve out a successful AFL career

We bring in a guy like Hill into the team and the coach and footy boss tell the rest of the players that he ‘won’t be dropped’. What the f*** is that? I know you’re thinking that was last year, but I reckon these things have a way of festering and maybe it’s an issue where some players are just not happy at the way their team mates are treated differently.

Were the players a bit salty when Ratts and the selectors decided to drop Billings and took a while to put him back in the side?

I reckon Highmore, Sharman, and Long would also be feeling like they are treated differently to some of our imports. Is it affecting trust between the playing group and the coaches?

Reckon you're getting pretty close to the truth here Scollop
