Time to have Sainters not mercenaries running the show?
There aren't any true blood Sainters people in senior management roles or coaching @ Moorabbin right now are there?
You get down to Tony Smith as runner before there is one of our tribe ?
So many of the senior players are also mercenaries, including the Captain Courageous. Say whatever of J. Geary he was our wontok.
The lack of Club spirit at the moment is palpable in the on field effort. In the current web page segment it makes me sad to see all those greats swapping tales with current players, but none of them coaching. We have produced plenty of media talking heads but no coaches. Nicky Dal has the Women, maybe he can graduate. Harves seems to be despised by current management for whatever reason. And they just don't bring the passion, love of club and emotional ties past players do.
Current executive seems cold & bureaucratic to me. And team is certainly playing without love/respect for the jumper. The lack of passion and vision perhaps just permeated down. Wish some of our high profile supporters and ex players would push to Re-Saint the coaching and management ranks. And for heaven's sake develop guys like King and Windhager for leadership. Thank goodness for Seb Ross. A true Sainter. And DMac. Keep your Hills, Butlers and Higgins.
Go real Sainters!

Re: Sainters running the show?
You can say that again.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
