What has happened to our run and Carry?
Our game style now is chipping around until almost every player is covered. Most of the time amounts to about 50 m net gain then we have to kick down the line to a pack. Makes our statistics look good but in actual fact it’s really ineffective. I notice in the third quarter when we actually took the game on and kick the ball quickly to King (mind you still had three players on him) that he took his only mark and goal for the quarter. Kick/mark enabled the opposition to set their positions. Every single bloody time we hold the ball up and kick it high it is the easiest ball in the world to spoil. So many times we refuse to switch the play and instead kick down the line. when we did switch the play no one was playing on after marking the ball. They just hold it up and then kick it sideways another 15-20 m. A rubbish way to play AFL and we’re getting what we deserve

But seriously - only one passage of play showed what we can do in the forward line - King was 1 on 3 - but we kicked it to his advantage and he was able to mark it. The rest of the time we played STUPID football

Hill runs around like a lost chook getting cheap posessions..
Absolute front runner cannot take an overhead mark cannot take a mark full stop.
Plays bruise free footy every game.

Our midfield needs gutting and starting again.
Gresham is a spud and needs to be replaced in the midfield, he's just Billings with a zig and zag move, walks like a crab, kicks like crab.
Our Captain tackles lots but is slow and un inspiring, I've never seen a captain walk around a footy field looking like he'd rather be in front of the fire watching and the game on the TV.
Jones, Crouch and Sebby all need to be firing at their absolute best to look like top 4 midfielders.
Then it drops away even further after that.
Our midfield is shot to pieces and really needs a total rebuild.
