Not one to discuss umpiring, but that quarter was a disgrace.
Could mention about 10. Logue's front on contact against King. What the hell. It's been a free for 125 years. Just not tonight.

Stupid reaction by Butler. There was virtually no time on the clock and he gives them a shot at goal and the game after the siren.

For the first time all season ... I have turned off watching. Then I did some work whilst listening on radio. Now I have turned off. So disappointed. Win .. we are in 8 - lose we won't make it. Nor do we deserve to.

They played with dare, we crumbled. The maggots didn’t help when we fought back, Butler was I’ll disciplined but it’s hard to blame him after those decisions.

How many scores tonight have they got from our defence sagging off for no apparent reason??

It’s hard to be critical of the team as a whole. Our defence simply isn’t up to it without Howard. And Highmore must surely have disappointed even his most avid devotees.
Unusually, our midfield has gone quite well.
Freo are a really good team. I certainly wouldn’t write off their chances of going all the way.

If I've ever seen a cra*p effort tonight it has been from King- needs a week at the VFL to learn a bit about hard work

When the pressure rises we just revert back to our bomb down the line / inside 50 game. Very frustrating.

We won't win a flag with this list, need to keep turning over players until we get it right.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Are Hill and King over rated?
Jones a liability?
What a circus on your home ground playing for a finals spot
Who is in charge?

Typical Saintsational. We were 8-3 at the break and top 4. Now, with this many games left in the season, we’re already out of the finals race and it’s the umpires fault.

The way Jones attacked that ball compared to Fyfe is a great display of the difference between a good player and an ordinary one.
