Is it the lights ..the ground or the camera angle or just me ...but this is a shite spectical for two top teams..worse game I have seen in a long time ..maybe kudos to the cats coach.

If this is the best there is then we'll win the premiership for sure.

For one thing we cannot stand that level of intensity (see what Sydney just did to us). Tonight's effort at South Norlane was pure pressure by both sides.

For another we don't seem to have qualified for finals and will need teams above us to lose a few and us not to lose a few.

Could happen I suppose, but would amaze me. We get chances, we blow chances. Personnel? Coaching? Both?

Going to take a while to build a team that is consistently mentally strong. Getting there, but possibly a few strong minds short at the moment.
I imagine that was a big part of the thinking in recruiting Dan Hannebery.

If we do make finals from where we are it will show great strength of character as well as talent and be a big leap forward in 2022. And once there is momentum....

Special respect for Joel Selwood, for kicking in the fingers of Oliver and getting FOX interview on ground after the ground with smiles all around. Gee, they are a pack of ugly old wolves Geelong.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Yes, that might help...lol There was a lot of intensity, I'll give you that.

Melbourne left their defensive game home. Scott is a good tactical coach and is good on identifying opposition strengths.
