Boofhead BT in the rooms
The nuisance was bothering our guys in the rooms.
He sat next to Butler, spoke to him for a lil bit, then gave Butler
- 4 return tickets to anywhere in Oz courtesy of Virgin Airlines.
Butler said he'll go to Noosa
Prob for the surfing.
Our hub in 2020, he absolutely *loved* the surfing up there.
Took other saints.
My personal thoughts-
He got 4 tickets.
If I were him, I'd give 2 tickets to Clark.
But that's just me

Re: Boofhead BT in the rooms
BT must be the worst commentator on TV.
No mention of the uneven free kick count although they kept flashing it on the screen.
Has virtually ignored Sinclair's sublime games in the matches he has commentated on (BOG in all of them I think) while talking up lesser players like Hill.
Sinclair was easily BOG by all other commentators but BT still never sought him out in the rooms and he was also ignored in the on-field interviews.
At least foxtel didn't ignore his fabulous game.

Re: Boofhead BT in the rooms
The game has gone way past ex-footballers like Brian Taylor who were ill-suited to commentary from the outset but were gifted a gig because they had played the game; who have no idea about the modern-day strategies and no desire to learn; who do not know details about most of the players and make no effort to know them ; and who think they are tremendously entertaining and funny when they are not. Wayne Carey is another one who ticks all those boxes. I would love to know what Nick Riewoldt and Joey Montagna - both excellent students of the modern game and very erudite commentators- think of the moronic BT .

Re: Boofhead BT in the rooms
Didn't Dan win BT best commentary of the year in 2020 for the line "Butler, Butler, Butler, danger, danger, danger."
Beat Andrew Hudson's hysterical up the scales falsetto rendition of : "Buddy, Buddy, Buddy"
in a countback for the descriptive elegance while conveying nothing to the listener category.
BT looks after his mates.
Does Virgin fly to Noosa?

Re: Boofhead BT in the rooms
BT is a deadset moron.
Had an argument with him once because he didn't know what an allen key was.
