Everyone’s favourite chair-sniffing AFL journo Sam McClure has investigated an incident of a “verbal altercation” which occurred between Paddy Ryder and Brad Hill at a bar in Mordialloc. Apparently there was a third St.Kilda player present.

On Monday night Ryder claimed he was not involved at all, in contrast to the club’s statement.

“I wasn’t involved in any altercation which has come through the media outlets tonight. Just want to make that clear,” he tweeted.

“Anyone have anything different to say please come forward, show your face and name yourself. I’ll wait. Good night all.”

How long can this lack of journalistic integrity be allowed to be just let go?
It’s muck raking “my sources” guff that has no substance, can’t be verified and deals in rumour and supposition
She just cast doubts and backs it with nothing

The media desperados once again trying to justify their unwarranted status and salaries with more soap opera garbage. Honestly, I've had enough of these pontificators in the media. I stopped watching the Fox footy shows and the free to air knobs a couple of years ago. Money for jam. I often watch games with the sound off to avoid the 'special comments experts' who analyse the game, only to point out the negativities unless it's their favourite players who they call by their first names......Buddy, Dusty, Jack, Max...or by their pet names.....Danger, Bont, etc.

The fact that these people get paid the money they do is insulting to the rest of us who have to actually do productive work

Caro on the other hand goes off “half cocked” regularly. Personally I think she is full cocked but that is just my opinion.

There is such a huge media contingent and so little to report on in these sanitized times that a nothing incident involving Ryder & Hill (which it appears) becomes front page news. Not to mention a serial DH and a consenting woman whose bogan, crass antics occupies the football press for a solid week.

As a saints fans I've seen this bull sh it a thousand times.
St kilda was / is the VFL / AFL favourite whipping boy .
Shows like footy classifieds barely mention us , let alone praise anything we do when we are winning but as soon as we lose a few , the media can't sink the boots in quick enough.
