Re: Predictions for tonight
Sydney by 30 points. I am no longer invested or have expectations. I cant and will no longer be watching games live.
After this round Saints fall to 10th on the ladder and wont get any higher for the remainder.
Ratten/Rath & Lade 1 step closer to having a foot out the door, if we can get Clarkson in.

Re: Predictions for tonight
10th- we're on that trajectory, based on the way we've performed recently, and the fact that in a few of our wins, we won off the back of an inspired burst, but not a sustained effort.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jun 2022 1:26pm Sydney by 30 points. We got back against the bummers, but they quashed that- abd if they can contain us, anyone can.
And Pies+Dogs have an easier draw than us, and they're improving, so they're more likely to keep winning than we are.
Tony74 says Rath has far too much influence.
Hopefully Bassat gets rid of Rath n Lade, and Ratts, and brings in Clarko and some skilled coaches

Re: Predictions for tonight
Predicting the Saints is never easy.
But the No. 9 is coming back.
And the 9th most popular Saint of all time is St. Teresa of Avila.
Appalled at the situation, she asked her brother to walk with her out into the land of the moors with the intention of letting those wild people out there behead them. They were saved by an uncle who spotted them.
I think going to Sydney is like going to the Moors. And many a fan, we are so ready to ask for a beheading. We want it over with!
Now maybe Mr Steele is Teresa, or maybe Mr Steele is the uncle that brings them back from the brink.

You can do this with any player, just by their number.
It is just as logical as our usual conclusions.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

7 commentators to cream themselves ad nauseam over Buddy Franklin and the ”talented young Swans”.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

If Cats beat Tigers
If we win tonight
We move up to 6th.
Cats could beat Tigers, quite probable.
Us winning?
Anyone see this happening?

Re: Predictions for tonight
South Melbourne by 65 points. Max King to kick 1 goal 5 from 10 marks and 18 disposals and Cooper Sharman to kick 5 goals 1 from 7 disposals and 2 marks. Selectors drop Sharman next week because he did not get his hands on the ball enough and replace him with Kent. Saintsational melts into oblivion and is never restored again.
St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

I’m predicting the same old rubbish gameplan
Same old excuses from the coaches after the game.
No one learns.
Rinse and repeat.
Saintsational melts down.

Re: Predictions for tonight
i think we have all lost confidence in the team...I'm wondering what the players are feeling..not that long ago we were talking top 4..now we are talking no finals.
admittedly i honestly thought we were a good side...wishful thinking overpowering common sense thinking i guess.
The good old Saints roller coaster ride.
Signed glass half empty...(nee Glass Half full )

Re: Predictions for tonight
Swans should win fairly comfortably.
Maybe we’ll crack in and keep the margin down but you’d think they’ll get up by 15-25 points.
Any more than that and it’s curtains for the season - and we should go hard at getting games into the players who need them for future seasons, because that’s what our focus has to be.

Re: Predictions for tonight
I reckon we can win. Swans aren’t that wonderful. Harder to beat at home though. But we’ve done it at the SCG before when they’ve looked better than us on paper.
Max needs to kick straight.

Re: Predictions for tonight
Hard to pick us but Steele back is huge so there is the midfield improved, Higgins and hillnoutndue to poor performance so players on notice . Not buying the personal reasons excuse as what ever is troubling him is spooling his performance of late.
The biggest issue will be if ratten has learnt his lesson. Both members and Sharman are “options” up forward so bloody use them. Stop kicking every ball to king
