Seems that we were so wound up in those first 11 rounds that the break has allowed us to totally unwind and the release valve opened ..... now running on near empty we are struggling to get that mojo back .... struggling to wind back up and get going again ..... which we could do albeit too late
Lose this Swans game and the wall of doubt in front of us starts to get taller with less hand and foot holds
Whatever needs to happen to get the hunger and willingness back needs to happen damn quickly
The next 4 games will absolutely show us where we are at ..... either we take that next step, push back and launch to the next level showing we are a serious team and contender ..... or we don't and get sucked into a black hole of mediocrity and nothingness

Blues
Freo

Re: Our Event Horizon
You couldn’t ask for a bigger lay-up in 2022 than playing Essendon, and look how that turned out.
The rest of the season is now just a slow and painful march to inevitable disappointment IMO.

Re: Our Event Horizon
Club history now suggests that we’ll come out of nowhere next week, kick 17.4 and decimate the Swans
Sharman will come in, get 3 touches for a return of 2 goals and keep the debate going as to whether he does enough
King will kick 5.0 all from outside 50m leaving us to wonder where this has been the last 5 weeks
Dmac will come back in a roar of thunder temporarily leading to captaincy talks and claims that he’s the most important player
Billings will get 25 touches and tease us with promise of being the player we always thought he should be
And finally... we’ll be no closer to figure exactly what we did, how we did it and how we can do it again
