Votes v Dons
Deflating. So disappointing… but not at all surprising to us Sainters .
5. Jade Gresham . Was just about the only player trying to make things happen all night . Far from perfect, but in my view easily our best.
3. Jack Sinclair .
2. Seb Ross.
2. Brad Hill. Yep made mistakes , but I thought he worked hard to give an option.
1 each to Josh Battle, Jack Billings and NWM for being the least worst of the rest.

I thought NWM was decent enough… that threw me
Then I thought well… King presented. I didn’t really notice Paton, maybe he did a job on someone
And it’s not inconceivable that you might be one of those forumites that appreciates an overwhelmed defender.
The NWM comment is the one that did it though

Re: Votes v Dons
We must have watched completely different games. I thought Howard was awful. Wright smashed him. Marshall hobbled round on one leg. King was insipid tonight.IluvHarvey wrote: ↑Fri 17 Jun 2022 11:38pm 5 Howard

Re: Votes v Dons
Sorry I deleted my post now. Thought it was obvious I was taking the piss. Probs a bit harsh on NWM but he looks great when we have the ball but a headless chook when we need him to do anything defensive. Obviously only young and will work on it but at the moment he is liability when the other team has the ball.Moods wrote: ↑Fri 17 Jun 2022 11:54pmWe must have watched completely different games. Re: Votes v Dons
5 null. no one came close to 'best'.
4 Ross -- worked hard and went flat-out. Nothing to criticise in his game -- unlike just about everyone else (except Windhager)
3 Gresham -- despite setting the tone right from the start, of running around in circles until coming a stupid cropper. Did more good things than his many bads.
2 Hill -- despite kicking perfect passes to Essendon players all night. At least he won a lot of kicks.
1 Battle -- took a lot of marks
