If your a young bloke drafted to this club …..who should you look up to ……hopefully geary he maybe not the most gifted of players but no one could question his will or heart to give his absolute most of himself.

Thought I'd just add to this thread when I saw it

I was about to start a new thread with a different title BUT exactly the same thing that Sainter_Dad is talking about...

What happened to any passion and any caring from our players? They don't give a stuff about each other and they also don't give a stuff about this footy club

We have bugger all connection and feeling and care between this team of slapped together imports and it has infected the whole group

What do St Kilda expect from bringing in so many imports? Has Crouch really made us a better team? Has Hill? Has Higgins? Why do they get a free pass and Clark and JB don't?

How do you think the rest of the group would take that...especially considering some of the salaries we are paying to these imports

Ratts can't fix this overnight and we aren't going to fix this with a few meetings...(I watched the video earlier today from Stan Alves. He talked about connection and relationships)

These intangibles tend to play out when you have players out on the field who don't really understand each other or their running patterns or leading technique ( and again...maybe they'd understand if they gave a stuff!!!)

You have to care and give a damn to actually make some improvements and create genuine connection. Otherwise you have a disposal stat and you are just turning up for a match payment

ALSO...If there was any integrity in selection Brad Hill would have been dropped last year and would have also been dropped this week. We have players to cover him

Let me add, I don't give a stuff if he was the best player on the ground tonight. I've only watched bits of pieces of tonight's match because I'm working

Jack Higgins would have played with Sandringham after being out for a month instead of waltzing back into the forward line

Someone else mentioned Geary in this thread. He's not the answer to us winning a flag but he sure is hell is a role model as far as giving 100% when he represents St Kilda

Same with Daniel McKenzie.
