Jack Steele's absence
Have we missed him?
The games we lost were due to inaccuracy in front of goal, bad decisions by players (bad kicks or wrong option)
Not sure if he would have gotten us over the line.

Re: Jack Steele's absence
Yes.
Actually again shows often you don't appreciate some things until they are gone.
No one popping up at FF to kick a much needed goal, tackles not being made, some of the mids falling into slack habits without someone there to gently scold.
The usually excellent decision making and positioning.
Yes we miss him a lot.

Re: Jack Steele's absence
I think he would have made a huge difference against Brisbane but outside of that, we've gone as well as we could've hoped without him. Can't wait for him to get back in the phonebox against Sydney!

Yep, really missed him against Brisbane, we got flogged in the middle.
We can't rely on Crouch and Ross to be 1 and 2 in the middle, just not enough class. Especially when Sinclair was down (in quality) and Hill did nothing.
Steele being in there lifts everyone else.

I don’t think it’s much of a stretch that Steele is the better player of the lot, a match winner and that we’ve missed him.
Our midfield certainly goes up a gear with him in it

Re: Jack Steele's absence
jack had a quiet season - was still our best or darn close. we just have higher expectations of him. of course we've missed him. his absence will likely cost us a finals spot.

Re: Jack Steele's absence
He was basically the only shining light last year so stood out massively, and though it doesn’t seem like he’s been hitting the same highs this season, I think we’ve underestimated how crucial he still is.
