Where is Josiah Kyle playing

Is there a reason Kyle is not playing for Sandy lately? I cant see him on the injured list and I cant find any info on where players who are not selected for VFL seniors play. Thanks

Thanks for the update Tony. It doesn’t surprise me that young men struggle with life in the AFL system. I hope he’s doing ok for himself.
When you look at players like Tom Boyd and what Bailey Smith is going through now it doesn’t surprise me that some players will find the life of an AFL player isn’t for them. Good luck to him.

In regard to Kyle, he's a long term rookie selection based on athletic ability.
Plenty of athletes get a chance with little or no understanding of the sport and some make it, some don't.
My son was offered an opportunity as a category B rookie at the Suns as a 17 year old and he hadn't played AFL at any level since he was 12.
Pretty common in my opinion.

Has footy talent- like many indigenous boys

But it seems can’t handle the demands of professional football

Yeah BM I lived in northern W.A for 10 years & was involved in junior footy & some of indigenous kids that I had the privilege to see had skills that would blow your mind just so naturally talented but due to family environment & circumstance they just fall by the way side such a shame
