Re: After a loss, I like to........
I always wondered about cat people.
Do they go to the shelter to acquire their felines, or do they "field of dreams the moggies".
Build it they will come.

Re: After a loss, I like to........
yep
build it
the one and only moggie
came via my wife (to be) to me
... (she found it in the gutter across the road from mine)
edit ... as a kitten
my german shepherd had passed
on the first night i'd got her to Boondi
... which was beyond heartbreaking
but
(not that long before the cat turned up)
anyways
Cat did stuff the dog used to to
exactly how the dog used to do it
Cat had attitude
just like the shep
(but didn't scare people in the process)
so much was she THE dog
i just accepted in the end , that the Cat was the Dog
which it was.

Why?
St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

Always had dogs and multiple cats, usually strays or rescue animals.
Years ago we found a dumped kitten outside and had to feed him milk with an eye dropper he was that young.
Had him for 18 or 19 years before he passed.
Our dogs and cats always seem to get on well together and share traits of the other species, much like yours.

We have cats and a dog. Makes for a more rounded person, but it gets a bit crowded on the bed sometimes.

I don’t create threads about myself
Fact is, I don’t care what you do?!
If you don’t read SS why would anyone give a s***?!

Clearly, you cared enough to comment in the first place. Then, you thought I was burying my head in the sand by avoiding the bleeding heart bed wetter brigade on SS. Nice work. Now you don't care what I do. Strange series of circumstances, but sure, whatever you reckon.
