Yep, well said. And I don't read the match day thread. Too many premature ejaculators, pea hearts, and downright disloyal supporters having a whinge and who quickly jump back on board should we jag a win.

The temper tantrum you would have thrown if we had to play a team coming off a bye when we traveled to Perth 6 days earlier would have been monumental, all the toys would have been out of the cot and faeces spread all over the walls!

ALL FIVE of our goals in the first half were “given” to us directly by the umpires, plus ANOTHER TWO that we missed.

We were cooked at the beginning of the third quarter, well before any injuries could have an affect (if at all). Lions lost players too.

Also any supporter with 2 eyes clearly sees we didn’t lose 4 midfielders. And maybe the decision to drop a winger and key forward for 2 small forwards wasn’t a good one (as most could see).

We’ve come up against the 2 best teams in the comp and clearly looked a step below. We lost because without Steele, Billings, Clark, NWM and Hill our “midfield” lacks class against the top teams. You can’t rely on Crouch, Ross and Gresh to get it done.

Keep cryin’ tho Curly, it’s nice for us all to have a laugh in these bad moments!

What does seem against us is a dysfunctional and largely inept forward line. Every team knows with us it's Max or bust at the present.

Buttler glitters but is not gold.
Higgins rusty.
Someone influential has a pathological aversion to playing Sharman and is being allowed to have their way.
No forwards being groomed.
Most of the competition has realised defensive forwards are a complete bust/myth, but our selectors have not yet grasped the need to score is the objective. 8 goals against a top 4 side won't often win a game. Three in a second half is poor. Our wonderful defence and brave mids deserve better.
If the Lions & Dees games have not made our coaches see how impotent the other 5 forwards are they are not worth their salt.
However the list doesn't have much to offer unless Clark and Billings can step up. Of course Sharman keeps kicking goals in the VFL which must be proving inconvenient for the selectors.

Geez, you think Curly moans and bitches over AFL adjudication and AFL "sanctioned" blatant cheating, imagine him bleating about the interpretation of the Marquess of Queensberry Rules and further more the judgement of scoring.

Each brief exchange in the ring would be followed by calls of cheating and requests to validate the scores.
Cries of "clearly missed" & "I got him, that's a point to me" would bellow across the ring.

I'm backing the DUD in a first round knockout, Curly is an excuse maker and a whiner, these people rarely have the mettle for the purest of sports.
