It is also about how often the ball gets delivered to Sharman vs King and vs Membrey.
He is the third tall option - and rightly so, as he is obviously not up to their level (but may have the potential to bridge that gap, who knows?) ... and has probably made the most of his limited opportunities, if we think of it that way.
He has not disappointed, and I won't go the other way and under-rate him, either ... that's for sure.

Re: Team vs Brisbane
Like Butler last game, Sharman is doing all the right things at Sandy. Good to see. Maybe he’ll soon start living up to the rating that many posters on here give him.
Billings seems to be having another good game as well, Clark less so, which is troubling.

Re: Team vs Brisbane
Sharman responded well to his omission.
Billings didn't drop his head and played well, working on being that conduit between defence and attack.
Clark did well I thought but more in desperate need of games continuity.
Byrnes just tries and tries, was down today.
All in a side that really did get smashed.

Armitage came close at times. I’m sure there are others I’m struggling to recall.
He played some very good games for us in a difficult position
He was undersized and his other skills were not elite enough to compensate.

Deleted. My bad: you were obviously talking about Lonie, not Sharman.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Sat 11 Jun 2022 5:06pmNo he wasn't.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sat 11 Jun 2022 3:18pmHe was crap!saintbob wrote: ↑Fri 10 Jun 2022 5:29pmLonie was far away the most overrated player!!!meher baba wrote: ↑Fri 10 Jun 2022 9:52am I can’t recall a player more overrated by fans in my time than is Cooper Sharman.

I thought Lonie was ok, but never more than a fringe player.
