Leinert the perfect sub
Could play almost any position, has all rhe attributes and long kick.
He is the ideal sub to cover any injury.

Re: Leinert the perfect sub
I agree wholeheartedly. He's been a joy to watch at VFL level and anytime he's been asked to come up a level - he's not looked out of place. He's that type of player whom, should the need arise - could cover for say, a Sharman up forward; Wood on a Wing or Battle down back. JL's a brilliant penetrating kick and IMHO - you can't have too many of that type in your team (let alone behind the ball!)Banger9798 wrote: ↑Fri 10 Jun 2022 6:16am Could play almost any position, has all rhe attributes and long kick.

Re: Leinert the perfect sub
I’ve been pondering what we do when we play the brown baggers who have McKay and Curnow up forward. Howard for McKay (that’s all we’ve got!). More importantly I would suggest Lienert for Curnow. You’ve heard it here first. Who needs Clarkson!!! I’m available and charge much less!!!

For Leinert's sake let's hope his football career is not reduced to being a sub, he is better than that.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Leinert the perfect sub
I'd back Jarrod to score more and lay more tackles than Danny B.
But he put defender on his application.
Of course, at the same time, putting speedy goal sneak with great defensive game on your cv doesn't necessarily make it so.

Re: Leinert the perfect sub
He’s a tall running defender, hasn’t got the strength or ability to go with the power forwards.

Re: Leinert the perfect sub
He’s got some versatility about him, which is handy as a sub. It’s a big risk having a one position player as a sub.
Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one.

Re: Leinert the perfect sub
No chance. That would be a waste given the amount of football they’ve missed this year. If they’re fit they’re in the 22 in my opinion.Saintmike65 wrote: ↑Fri 10 Jun 2022 3:06pmBanger9798 wrote: ↑Fri 10 Jun 2022 6:16am Could play almost any position, has all rhe attributes and long kick.
