The main thing standing between the Saints and the others is 4 quarters of consistent football- especially from the midfield. We have had success playing one big quarter in our wins, but we can't go missing for a quarter here or there. We let Melbourne win the game in the first quarter, handed PA the game by going missing in the third quarter, and almost blew it against Adelaide early.

If we can keep everyone fit and firing we will give them run. I know he's a forgotten soldier, but even if Hannebery can get going he will help. I know Melbourne touched us up in the last game, but I think Sydney will be the side we have the most trouble with. Their outside speed and skills are exceptional and they are playing with huge passion and momentum ATM.

All these sides have flaws, Sydney can go missing and really shouldn’t have won against Richmond.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Mon 06 Jun 2022 11:58am If we can keep everyone fit and firing we will give them run. Melbourne are still the best equipped team but if matched in the midfield may be exposed up forward.
Their reliance on May is also noticeable.
Brisbane aren’t great at keeping opposing teams to moderate scores, which could be an issue in fierce, lower scoring finals.
Freo have been great but will they score heavily enough in finals?
Fascinating to see how it plays out…Collingwood May surprise!!

richmond when lynch is back you can add to the list. geelong and carlton can match us. we're one of eigtht. then there's the unpredicability of the dogs, a resurgent port, and the rising suns.
heck, we're doomed.
