The funny thing about missing goals, it seems to spread thru both teams.
Both sides see a guy miss a set shot, it gets in their heads and affects their confidence.

In the past, I used to play pool during tea break at work, and I'm very inaccurate. My workmates used to fluff easy shots after my misses.
It was weird.

Yes, it's a nautical term, from my time in the Merchant marine during the '30s. I used to sail in barques, mostly.

As you know, Starboard means right.

Why way of remembering comes me missing the Daily tot. I liked me a wee glass of port but knew it wasn't right. So I said, 'Port is NOt right', it's left.

My knowledge of geography comes from those days.

I hope the players arent thinking the same? We were lack luster for 2 1/2 quarters last week, hopefully this week Ratts has us dialled in and our group set to go hunting for a big win?

North have a % of 50 and only beat West Coast Eagles over here when the Eagles had 12 players out with Covid-19 so that has an * next to it for mine.
They have made the mistake of clearing out too many of their good, experienced players at once.
We have some players from our midfield missing, sure; but Dan H and Hunter haven't played all year, and they missed much of 2021 too, so we should be set up to cover their absences by now.
We need to fix the way we start games, granted, but if not at home against the bottom side, then when?
