We have struggled to win interstate for as long as I can remember.
The Saints have eight games away from Melbourne this year, seven interstate and one at Geelong.
A really tough fixture in my eyes.
We have now won our three away interstate games so far this year and lost by just one point in Cairns to Port (that could yet prove to be VERY costly).
A continuation of these important away from Melbourne results should see us reach our best end of season finish since 2010 despite our horrid fixture.

Re: Interstate Wins
Ability to win on the road - even to win ugly like last night - is what separates contenders from flat-track bullies.
So far so good, putting aside the Cairns debacle where conditions were so horrible as to reduce the outcome to a lottery.
Nice work Saints
