Won't watch the last qtr as it was nailbiting.

Team found something special in that 7-10 minutes of the third.
Would like to see more of that, esp in the 1st qtr.

Maybe hard to sustain, as canny coaches will work out how to quell us.

Tom Briglia in his match report, mentioned Ratts brought one fwd back towards the middle so we had one extra at the contest.
Which means we're one down in F50.
A good team like Demons or Lions will exploit that and rebound.

Who knows.
I'm just stoked that we had our highest scoring qtr in years.

Never watch when we lose one but like to scrutinise the game we do win .
Result : it was a high standard game , everything clicked for us in the last half of the third but overall we were the better team all day and it was disappointing that we only won by 10 points

Watched the full replay once, and watched Q3 from the 14m mark to end of Q3 4 times now.

If we've got that muscle above the shoulder working strongly we are a formidable force.

I still maintain our list is vulnerable with regards to depth of quality but we've had massive improvement from several senior players and then add to that the debutants have been able to contribute. We are only a few injuries away from the deck of cards blowing over but what is clear, the core of the list (say the top 12) have now played a decent amount of footy together and then within that group we have some player in career best form. And he'll Kingy hasn't exploded yet.

Hopefully our recruiters pull more rabbits out of the hat this year.

It's really curious to compare the Demons game and the Cats games, in particular, the 3rd qtr.

Demons were always tough and pressured us, were able to feed to a player in the clear, leaving us floundering.
In that purple patch in the 3rd, our guys found team-mates in the clear while Cats were not close enough to exert enough pressure.

Biilings to Long for a goal. Nice.

Windy to Long to Wood. Cats seemed to wait for one of their guys to win possession to take it away.

Be nice if we could do that more consistently.

I wanna mention Wilkie, several times he picked out a Saint in the clear, with a lovely clearing kick.
I don't think I would trust Webster with that job.
