I believe playing in that 88% humidity last week will handicap us badly this week.

Think of me long enough to make a memory.

You think it will have that much of an effect on young, elite athletes after an 8 day break, especially while they’re fresh early in the season?

Melbourne outscored us by 35 points in the first half and only 3 points in the second half.
PA played in the same conditions, had two days less break and pumped last seasons runners up.

Can't say I agree with making excuses.

I agree with your ''making'' excuses statement but to compare Western Bulldogs in their current form with Melbourne who are arguably still going forward is way off the mark.

Maybe 2 consecutive weeks of travel had an impact.

Slow starts are killing us.

This week is critical. 3 losses in a row will be a disaster.

We have beaten Geelong once in 11 years and it looks like they are hitting some form, unfortunately.

I agree there is a chasm separating WB & Melbourne at the moment.
And I think this actually backs up the no excuse comment.

PA came back and played their best footy with a 2 day less break than us.
We got pantsed by the best team in the comp and it wouldn't have mattered who or where our previous game was IMO.

We got beaten by a far superior team at this point in time, it wasn't travel, etc, excuses don't cut it.

Do you have an Essendon scarf or an Essendon beanie at your house?

Does it…or..did it ever belong to you?

What do you all think? Too harsh or not harsh enough?
Unfortunately he did not leave his ego in the locker room. He made zero tactical changes and failed to respond to the challenges. The mark of a good coach is the ability to assess what is not working and to make changes accordingly. It’s time for Ratts to leave!!!

Codswallop, you don’t sack a coach for one loss. If we applied the same logic to you Ernie about your dodgy posts you would have been gone weeks ago.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

His lack of tactical nous is very embarrassing for our club
