Pathetic

Post: # 1951918Post nostalgicsaint »

Not the team, a lot of you. We did not lose the game due to lack of effort, a poor list or failed coaching. It was a classic wet weather game that we lost due to accuracy, it happens!

We started the year a 6 to 10 side this year.

We're probably still in that mark.

You can probably call it 6 to 8 now.

We're not a Melbourne or Brisbane currently which means we will drop the odd game we shouldn't like last night and round 1 against Collingwood.

The good news is our best is good enough on its day to beat anyone.

Similar to round 1, people need to calm down, disappointing yes. End of the world or even season no.

Win one of the next two weeks and we're still on track. Win both and we're a chance to exceed expectations and finish 4 to 6.

I had finally had enough of the threads and came her to smash you Nostalgic

Take you 'like' and be done with it!

I do think there is fault across all lines - including Coach and Selection - but we do need to work on our return of 14.35 in the past two weeks. We are not going to win many more with that accuracy.

Of course there are always areas to improve across the board, but the overreaction here is as embarrassing as it is predictable

Whenever we lose a close game, I feel upset for a minute or two and then I get on with whatever I have to do next in my busy life and don’t continue to ruminate about the game.

Watching football is a wonderful form of entertainment, but some people seem to go a bit overboard about it.

A constant in the life of a Saints supporter is that you’re going to be severely let down quite frequently. If you can’t handle that, I suggest you should find another club to support.

Meher Baba - your post confirms my belief that you are the most balanced contributor to this forum - perhaps reflective of the name you have chosen . I have not however reached your level of serenity , as I am still upset after 12 hours !

Entertainment? I thought it was a meant to be a penance. Entertainment is (was) a Bette Midler concert, or Fiddler on the Roof or an MSO gig.
