No Lienert, No Win

Post: # 1951849Post Sainternist »

Here’s an interesting stat: Jarrod Lienert had played in all 5 of our 5 wins so far this season.

I think he would have been pretty handy tonight against his old team. Was almost hoping he’d come as a medical sub when we were starting to let Port back in it.

And may I add, bloody Ken Hinkley absolutely has our number. We’ve only had 1 win against Port since he’s been coaching them 🤮

Yep, Port got their medical sub on with fresh legs in the last quarter.

Sub off Campbell with a “corky”
Battle into 2nd ruck
Lienert onto whoever Battle was on and we probably win.

‘Cause Lienert hates losing

The way Hinckley made us miss 11 easy goals was genius.

Yeah, that sure came back to haunt us. At one point we kicked 11 straight behinds or something ridiculous. Too bad the team follows this harebrained scheme of all the other clubs in hardly practicing goal kicking at training

Port used their sub to get fresh legs on the ground. Some clubs are rorting the sub rule.Port are a prime example.

It’s a silly rule. The League should have just reintroduced the old sub rule.

No Paddy McCartin, no Sydney win :P

Well actually, they lost to the Bulldogs but that was because of the Buddy hangover after Franklin kicked his 1000th goal and all the celebrations and media that followed

Bet the guy they subbed off is fit to play this weekend.

Their coach told bare faced lies in his after match interview.

Corky my arse,

I'll pass on that thanks.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
