Jack Higgins had 3 effective disposals for the whole game ( 9 disposals at 33% DE). Of course he should be dropped.
In the first quarter, the guys up the ground were busting their arse and putting their body on the line and running their guts out to provide forward entries. Higgins decision making and his wastefulness meant that Port stayed within touch. The game could have been very different if we got out to a 5 goal lead early
Same with Jade Gresham who just does not do the disciplined thing. He needs to do the basics well and play the percentages. He thinks that he’s kicking goal of the year every attempt. In that first quarter and a couple of times late in the game Gresham just played selfish football instead of team football
