The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Giants v Sandy
Besides the two goals
I haven’t seen Sharman hardly yet a kick
Bytel 1 touch in the third
Allison 1 touch in the third
Byrnes, Connolly going OK

Re: Giants v Sandy
Great fight back by Sandi, I think they will take the draw. They had their chances in the last but needed a bit of luck.

Re: Giants v Sandy
Kent kicks 2 goals in the last quarter to help Sandy draw the match .
Will this see him getting a senior recall .

Re: Giants v Sandy
Frustrating to watch!
So many fundamental mistakes and bad choices.
Why, when the game is tied, would you take a mark at HB and hold the play up and chip sideways
It just goes to show, some footy players are stupid!
Plus, there are some top up guys playing at Sandy who are not up to standard.

Re: Giants v Sandy
I heard from a very reliable source Bytel was unhappy with his lack of games. Was looking at other options.

Re: Giants v Sandy
If true then no great loss.
Players get culled from lists at the end of every season, Bytel may well be on that list already.
He's been superceded by many other players.

Re: Giants v Sandy
He is hardly setting the world on fire at Sandi, his trouble is he is one paced and similiar to Crouch & Steele. He got 21 disposals today which is about his average so he is not banging the door down.
Byrnes 32 dispoals
Highmore 29 disposals
Kent 25 disposals 2 goals
Connolly 24 disposals
Peris best game 18 disposals
Sharman 3 goals
Adams also showed a bit down back.
Allison continues to struggle to find the ball just 7 disposals.
Bytel who is 189cms talI he plays a lot smaller and has no other strings to his bow other than the inside game. I dont know what his contract status is but if he is looking about, then that says a bit about him as an individual.

Re: Giants v Sandy
If I was Bytel, I’d look elsewhere
Windhager playing in front of him… behind Steele, Crouch, Ross, Jones, Gresham, Byrnes, Owens, Windhager
He’s a long way back

Re: Giants v Sandy
Highmore 29 disposals. He knows how to rack them up. Where does he play in the seniors? Such a good intercept defender.
Posting 20 years of holey crap!

Blink and you'll miss him
It's no secret that Jack Peris comes equipped with some serious wheels, yet today's display had onlookers leaning forward in their seats that little bit more. The Category B Rookie had 19 touches at Blacktown, but it was the way he left opposition forwards in his wake to create half-chances which was the most eye-catching. A deft, mid-air kick – which hit Cooper Sharman square on the chest – from a brutish Max Heath tap will go straight in the highlights reel, but Peris' less glamorous final quarter act was all the more important. A GWS charge from stoppage was halted by the lightly built defender with a front-on tackle, forcing another ball-up and another chance for Sandringham to launch another assault.
GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY 2.4. 6.7 7.9 8.11 (59)
SANDRINGHAM 1.4 3.5 4.7 8.11 (59)
GOALS
Greater Western Sydney: Riccardi 2, Fleeton, Green, Hebron, Grintell, Monaghan, Monti
Sandringham: Sharman 3, Kent 2, Bytel, Heath, Lowe
BEST
Greater Western Sydney: Riccardi, Hamilton, Stewart, Briggs, Fahey, Peatling
Sandringham: Byrnes, Watson, Kent, Highmore, Peris, Bytel, Sharman

Re: Giants v Sandy
Here's one for you apropos of not much above:
who would you rather have on our list: Bytel or Adam Treloar of WB via Pies.
My instinct is actually Bytel. Buckley may have been right. Bytel is strong, possibly a late bloomer. Treloar spasmodically flashy.
