Lethlean successor?
With the imminent CEO succession plan about to take place, next piece of the puzzle is who will become our next head of football.
Personally I’m hoping it’s Graeme ‘Gubby’ Allen.
Gubby has been doing behind the scenes work for the club the last couple of years and is just too valuable a resource not to be involved on a full time basis.
His resume is very impressive, (excluding his unfortunate dealing with Lachie Whitfield)…but hey, all is forgiven with Simon Lethlean!!

Re: Lethlean successor?
It will be interesting reading Mike. Gubby would be the obvious choice given he is interested in a full time role. The club seems to be in a good place ATM and on the precipice of some success, so the continued stability would be good moving forward.

Re: Lethlean successor?
Incorrect. He doesn’t want a full time role. With anyone … that’s why he’s stuck with us … we’re not making him do anything more than he wants to at this stage of his life.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Thu 14 Apr 2022 12:40pm It will be interesting reading Mike. Gubby will be 68 in July. Fair enough if he still has the fire in the belly but, for too many in footy, it just becomes a habit.
