Best on Ground Fox show
I don't know if anyone's watching it, but the host Mark Howard must be the most irritating wanker I've ever seen.

Not as irritating as Nicks version of 'oh when the saints'. Who TF thought that was a good idea.

Re: Best on Ground Fox show
Very cringe. The funniest bit in the show was when Nathan Brown came on with a sponsored Sportsbet segment and he sledged Howard and the other big dogs on the new show
Too much focus on Buckley …which he loved by the way
Bounce is much better.

Not many footballers are natural comedians.
Memo to Foxtel. Would much prefer a serious wrap-up show.

Harsh criticism. A bit like saying David Winbanks was a much better footballer.

Certainly no Eddie McGuire or even a Darryl Summers.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Sat 02 Apr 2022 10:31pm I don't know if anyone's watching it, but the host Mark Howard must be the most irritating wanker I've ever seen.

I associate Howard with getting stuck into Chris Gayle after that frivolous Big Bash interview that scandalised so many people. A moral compass man if ever there was one. Apologised on behalf of the channel that broadcast it with the earnest self righteousness of a pollie. After first laughing along, I believe.
But never got what his claim to fame is, other than he can talk under water and be endlessly amused by anecdotes of past players.

Re: Best on Ground Fox show
They should have stuck with Saturday Stretch, much better footy wrap and no Robbo trying to sing.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Best on Ground Fox show
I can't stand Mark Howard either, he's a dreadful poser and untalented sports groupie and "look at me!" fantasist, should never have risen higher than when he started out as a pit reporter for the Ten network's coverage of the Bathurst 1000 in 2005.
Fox Sports and Fox Footy has slipped far down from the days when it presented footy far more seriously, no longer watch the farcical On the Couch or the pre-game commentary with pseudo comics Lyon, Brown and Riewoldt for the awful faux amateur dramatics and theatrics they are being directed to perform, they try to be funny but it never is......don't mind Dunstall's analysis but Bounce is well past it's use by date for me.

Ah yes, old Robbo. Super aerialist on field but by a god … has he used it to weasel himself into the music scene. Apart from Phil Ceberano … there’s not a single muso in Melbourne that rates him. And he was flat out ordinary last night too.

Re: Best on Ground Fox show
I lasted less than 10 minutes with it.
I have foxtel mainly for the sports and footy channel.
NOT for footballers and other sportsmen trying to be comedians.
A big NO to Best on Ground and Bounce!
