Gutsy win. Hung on gamely when Cats did all the attacking in the last quarter . Tackled extremely well . We had the wind in the last quarter and frankly should have pulled away rather than simply hanging on - but the players absolutely could not be faulted in their effort.

Helps when your experienced midfield players come back in, a few young ones are standing up and the 2 most talented mids still aren't playing. They are improving.

I watched the last 11 minutes. Extremely pleased for the girls - and for me because I didn't have to endure the entire game! Two goals aggregate for an entire match in perfect conditions would suggest the competition has a lot, a real lot, of development to do before it becomes a credible sport.
