Warnie RIP

Post: # 1940716Post WellardSaint »

Found unresponsive in his villa on Koh Samui, Thailand.
Can't post link but you'll see it in the morning news.

Geezus, 52 years young.

A true character gone too soon

Oh man that sucks. I can't believe it. I'm a big Warnie fan. I only just watched his documentary on Prime 3 days ago. His kids adore him they will be devastated. So sad for them.

I'm in shock.

RIP King! Condolences to your family, team mates, friends & beloved Saints. Gone too soon.

Just shows, live life to the fullest. Even if there may be regrets, don't dwell on them and enjoy every moment, evert opportunity. So sad.

Shocked and stunned by this. The term “legend” is often bandied around a bit loosely, but not in this case. His death at such a young age will only add to the legend.

Sad, sad day. RIP legend

There was Bradman and there was Warne. Didn't see the first, but did see the second. You can go and get a cup of tea when most bowlers are on when the bat is on top. Not with Warne - it could happen at any time. As a sportsman, he knew that he was an entertainer. He played for, but not necessarily to, the crowd. Alas, he was a smoker.

I just cannot believe this. So very sad for his family. The best ever spin bowler and a great cricketer.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Garry Lyon said that Warnie wanted to coach St Kilda at one point!

I believe him.

Remember his heartfelt exasperation when RL’s defensive game plan irked him.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
