Dal Santo to miss Collingwood clash
I note on the Saints official website that Dal won't coach this week "due to AFL Health and Safety protocols".
Is this PR speak for he has COVID or is a close contact? Assume from now on the words "due to AFL Health and Safety protocols" are going to be wheeled out for all sorts of things and then no one has to be at fault or in the wrong place etc as it will all be covered by this catchy AFLspeak?

I heard he had Covid so should be back next week.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

lucky we got those two junk time goals or it would have been a real ugly scoreline.

Re: Dal Santo to miss Collingwood clash
Sadly the team seems to have gone backwards this season . Clearly the loss of their best 2 players for the entire season is crippling , but under Peta Searle the team had - and were reasonably effective in executing- a clear game plan . Amongst other things, it led to opportunities for key forwards Geiser and Shierlaw . Now all they seem to have is a strong desire and tackling pressure. The work ethic is there , but it is hard to see a game plan- and the disposal skills seem to have dropped too so they just can’t string possessions together. I am very keen for our team to succeed, but at the moment it is very disappointing.samuraisaint wrote: ↑Sat 15 Jan 2022 6:20pm lucky we got those two junk time goals or it would have been a real ugly scoreline.
