Incredibly motivating and inspirational but I can see how so many players suffer from anxiety from such expectation. After all, isn't it still a game to be enjoyed, win or lose?

True.
But winners are grinners and it's never fun to be on the receiving end, unless it's in the form of a silver cup.

Very sorry to hear that Kevin "Cowboy" Neale is suffering from dementia, he was for many many years a stalwart of the St Kilda FC, going along to countless sportsmen's nights to fundraise for different charities, often in company of club Legend Neil Roberts.

He also spent a lot of time mentoring St Kilda players.

Cowboy's been inducted into the St Kilda Hall of fame, but I firmly believe he is worthy of elevation to St Kilda FC Legend which I hope the Board initiates this year before his health deteriorates further.

"Any candidate for political office, once chosen for leadership, must have the will to take the wheel of a very powerful car, tasked from time to time to make a fast journey down a narrow, precipitous mountain road – and be highly skilled at driving. Otherwise, he is disqualified from the company of competent leaders."

John Carroll, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at La Trobe University.

In the article it mentions at the first game at Moorabin in 1965 they had a crowd of 51,000. Wow that must have been tight
