It was a fundraising event and party for a young Sainter called Tommy who has a serious condition. It was held in Patterson Lakes at Melbourne Cable Park. The young fella is a wakeboarding enthusiast.
Jack presented him with a jumper from the club signed by all the players. Good to see, and good luck for a full recovery Tommy.

The mum was quoted as saying she was told he had cancer at midnight one night, and her world turned upside down. Sad

He's a great bloke Jack.
I know we don't really play down there anymore , but it would be nice if the club did something for that school in Devenport where the 5 kids died.
That's the saddest story I've heard in ages, poor kids.
