Marshall at crossroads
Rohan is 26 and has played 65 games. Forget the word potential. I desperately hope he can go on and play many top quality games for us but he has to be seen to be at the crossroads and I think that this is a critical season for him.

Are you serious?
Runner Up B&F in 2019 as number 1 ruckman
Had to play second fiddle to Ryder in 2020 and finished 4th
Last year played with a f***ed foot

Re: Marshall at crossroads
Didn't realise he was that old. Still think of him as a young hopeful.
Well I believe planta fascia is not a death sentence for footy players, but I suspect he must have had it for a while before they went the surgery way...no?
In 2020, he was about our best player...It was a tough 2021.
Still, surely he the champ. I almost think he could be captain.

Geez. I think he's in the top 5 ruckman in the league.
What cross roads is he at?

Hardly cross roads, if the guy has an injury free season he will be in our top 3 at seasons end.

Re: Marshall at crossroads
Surprised he is 26 but was a late bloomer & IMO he is crucial part of our push to win a flag . The foot injury didn't help last year but with a full pre season under his belt he will be cherry ripe to make a big statement this year IMO anyway

Re: Marshall at crossroads
Silliest post I have read for a long time.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

If you know anything about crossroads you'll know it's about Robert Johnson and the lost song.

It is so easy to see we are in the off-season when you read a thread like this.
Only round 1 can cure this, no vaccine is available.

I thought the famous Guitar Amp company was struggling when i read the title.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Crossroads between A grade and Elite
I will grant you that the foot is a concern for a big bloke, lot kilos going through those little bones and once there is a weak zone, it is tough to fix.
But he is a gun

I had a Marshall AVT 100 loved at the start but it started to have issues it spent more time in the repair shop than it did in my house . In the end I went for the Vox AC 30 no problems since

Romo's 27 at the end of this month.
Geez why didn't we trade him why he still had some currency.

I guess it’s easy to forget that he was on the list playing at Sandy for a year or two whilst Richo was developing Longer into the beast he is today

Re: Marshall at crossroads
If he has no further foot injuries next season, then he will be great contributor. My fear is that at 27 he will have ongoing foot problems which will limit his ability to see out some games. The other fear is that we are putting a lot of hope in Paddy who is near the end of his career and will most likely not play every game next season. We need to really mange our ruck stocks well in 2022...could be a problem.

Re: Marshall at crossroads
The problem is/was, it’s a fools errand for the club to try and get players to play through chronic injuries like his for one.
When you think about how the club rushed Rowan back, he then re-aggravated the injury and then was hampered on again off again for the rest of the year…
What did we gain for that?
Most valuable plater on the list or close to it… now seemingly at risk of having to manage this injury indefinitely when really, an extra month or 2 in the first place and it would have healed fully.
Guess it speaks to the absolute mess our list was in in terms of depth

Hopefully his foot injury is totally resolved and his partnership with Ryder gets the best out of him.
I’d like to see him as one of our best 3 players and top 50 in the AFL for the next 5 years.
