Re: Gallagher on draft outcome. Sounds of the Saints
An excellent interview with Gags. Very informative as to the 6 draftees plus Matt Allison and Max Heath. Good explanation for why each of them was drafted .
Sounds like we won’t see the big boys Max and Oscar (or the two rookies ) the seniors next year, but hopefully the other lads might make an impact, especially Nasiah and Mich .

An answer in here on WIndhager's injury, about the 40-45 minute mark.
In rehab from back injury over the past 8 weeks, aiming for full training after Christmas. Similar thoughts on playing AFL in 2022 to most of the other draftees.

A good interview - gives a good insight into what goes into their thinking and network to assist with that thinking.
I think he said the name of their SA scout was Shane Moon (?), gets to two or three games a week and reports back to the club.
Fingers crossed you've nailed another two SA lads Shane.

He likes Michito alot, would like to know where they actually think he would go in an open draft with proper exposed form... I have the feeling Gags thinks he would be top 20.

A great communicator and professional operator. The Saints are in good hands with Gaggs managing our list.

Yes, a great interview - worth watching how professional our recruiting is becoming.
Gags is very impressive and a good communicator. I think that we are in good hands for a while - a huge leap on past recruiting performance.
I wonder how our past recruiters were ever allowed in and especially how long they stayed. Bad management again by the very top brass that run our Club.

Re: Gallagher on draft outcome. Sounds of the Saints
Most (if not all) other clubs have benefited from father/son and Academy picks. It's about time we got a piece of that pie.
To me, Windhager looks like the one we'll be most excited about once he plays senior football. Owens will get bigger and stronger, judging by the size of his brother, and if he can play midfield he may be the ideal replacement for Seb Ross as he moves into the twilight of his career.

At various times in the 6 weeks preceding the draft - Cal Twomey had Owens inside the top 20 in his phantom draftsBanger9798 wrote: ↑Wed 01 Dec 2021 11:25pm He likes Michito alot, would like to know where they actually think he would go in an open draft with proper exposed form...
