Re: 2021 Phantom Draft
I can’t help but feel as though I’m going to be disappointed this draft... not a fan of Sinn
Really feel Sonsie is the guy and feel hot n cold on Wanganee -Milera... reckon he’s something else but also am not sure if he’s got enough tools in the box.

I dont proclaim to be an expert - I just watch a lot of footage and read everything I can about the kids. For me it is as intriguing as the season itself, as like most clubs I feel it has been of short coming of the Saints in past years. Having said that our recruiting has improved 10 fold since Chris Libartore has taken over.
Sinn as our first round pick is gaining momentum, apparently at the most recent testing he has gained 6 kgs and grown to 191cms tall. Although he played as a hbf this year, I believe he has played midfield in his earlier years. As Skeptic suggested Sonsie or Hobbs are the more proven mids but I was just trying predict what the clubs would do, rather than anything else.

I like your Rookie selections, tall kids who may develop into Key Position players.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 20 Nov 2021 6:07pmYes did it this afternoon.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Sat 20 Nov 2021 4:47pmIs this yours?Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 20 Nov 2021 3:07pm 2021 Phantom Draft

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

It’s easy to be critical but I always say “Let those without Sinn cast the first stone”skeptic wrote:I can’t help but feel as though I’m going to be disappointed this draft... not a fan of Sinn

Re: 2021 Phantom Draft
My understanding is although they make a lot of noise about Sinn, saints are actually opposed to Sinn.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 20 Nov 2021 3:07pm Note I would actually prefer Chesser with our first but there is a lot of noise around us being interested in Sinn.
Saints don't do sinn.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Your company is going to go out of business because another company used AI.

Re: 2021 Phantom Draft
They might surprise us, as there are a number of good quality pure mids touted as later choices. I agree on the need for a pure inside/outside midfielder Sonsie, Taylor, MacDonald, Erasmas & Johnson. Then there are players like Jackson, Long, Butler & Knevitt but we could probably trade down and pick them up.
Either way on there recent recruiting history, Ill back Libartore and his crew to get it right!

Re: 2021 Phantom Draft
I think you are on the money with Sinn.
However, if Gibcus slips through to pick 11 he would be hard to pass up.
Pure defender with a tremendous vertical leap. A rebounder who can also play one on one. He is the best backman in this draft.
Also like the look of Johnson. Deceptively quick who can seemingly make time stand still.
Either way we will get someone really good at 11.
And if we also get our academy boys, laughing.

Re: 2021 Phantom Draft
Another mad Saints supporter (Blake Howes) just like Rozee was, hopefully we can bet them back to the club before too long?
